Will I be able to take the tools/materials I use at the workshop home with me?
You will be provided with blank eggs, dyes, beeswax and pysanka writing tools, called "kistka" to be used during the workshop.
At the end of the workshop you will have an opportunity to pick up an individual Pysanka kit to take home with you as part of your registration.
Kits will also be available for purchase should you like to share the world of PYSANKY with your friends and family.
Can my child participate?
Your and your child's safety is out TOP PRIORITY!
Workshop students will be working with open flame and hot wax. Due to safety considerations this workshop is open to adults and children OLDER than 7 years old, children who are under 10 years old will be allowed to participate ONLY WITH ADULT SUPERVISION!!
How should I dress?
You will be using high intensity natural pigments to dye the eggs, they will stain your hands and might be difficult to wash off your clothing. Melted wax is another thing to consider. So grab a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, or whatever it is that you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Goal here is to have fun without worrying too much about emeregency dry cleaning!
